The Best Organization Products Part 13 - Travel Edition

Organizing is my favorite!! Just a reminder, as an Amazon Affiliate I may earn from qualifying purchases.  1. Packing Cubes These are a game changer for travel! They have different sizes. For me I switch up how I use them. Sometimes I put an outfit in each cube, and other times I put types of clothes in each cube. For example, separate it by pants, shirts etc. The few times I've traveled without using them since getting them it's felt VERY strange.   #ad 2. Compression Packing Cubes I recently went on a trip to Italy and was very excited for all of the organization opportunities! One thing I had never used was compression packing cubes which I've heard are awesome when trying to save space. These did save space in my suite case! However be mindful of the weight...they did feel heavier.   #ad 3. Garment Bag Another item I packed on my trip was this garment bag! I wanted to pack dresses, keep them organized and also avoid too much wrinkles. This did the trick!! It has hook

This is textured paper for primary writers! The lines are raised and really help guide the student with their handwriting! The kids love it!   #ad 2. SnapWords Sight Word Flashcard There is tons of research behind a multisensory approach for teaching students. These SnapWords are the original multisensory approach. I used them when I first got my teaching certification. This was before the training I received at my current job in how valuable a multisensory approach is. These are fun for kids and I've seen success with them!   #ad 3. I Encourage Progress T-Shirt  We are a pretty relaxed dress code school where I work. A few years ago, the special ed team ordered these shirts! They are so cute and comfy and give a great message!   #ad

Tons of things were destroyed, including her crate tray. There was a big hole in it before I ended up just ordering a new one. Thank goodness they sell replacement trays like this one! There was no reason for me to order an entire new crate. The good thing about the tray is that it's removable so if she had an accident or threw up in was easy to clean.   #ad 2.  Bone Appetit Dog Food Bin  How CUTE?! I use this for Riley's dog food! it's the perfect size! It even has wheels to move around your house if you need to!  https://mavely.app.link/e/sXkpWvvDPyb #ad  3. Dog Placemat  I don't know about your dog but Riley spills EVERYTHI

Finger Spacers for Handwriting I work with younger students and typically they may be struggling writers. When we are focusing on spacing between words, there are a ton of tools out there to help. This is just one of them!   #ad  3. Uno Who can resist a game of Uno? My kids LOVE IT!!! Honestly playing board games and card games can teach so many skills to students including turn taking and winning vs. losing. Uno is a favorite in my classroom.   #ad

Command Picture Hanging Strips There are a game changer for hanging things up in your classroom. My classroom has cinderblock walls and barely anything sticks to them! This is how I hang all my heavier posters etc!  https://mavely.app.link/e/FWCEhEcxOyb  #ad  2.  The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds  If you've never read this book to your class you are missing out! This is absolutely one of my favorite books! I think this is a great read aloud for any elementary aged student! It teachers perseverance and to trust yourself!   #ad 3. Yellow Highlighted Paper  This is what the OT at my school uses for some of our struggling writers. Sometimes that extra visual really helps with different handwriting skills!   #ad

Scholastic Success with Writing Workbook I know that we are shying away from worksheets, but my theory is everything in moderation. This is a workbook I purchased to use with my 1st grade tutoring student. We do one day of writing practice and one day of reading practice. I like how this workbook includes some fun activities. For example the first page was a finding the capital letters maze. My student enjoyed it!   #ad  2.  Primary Composition Notebook  Sometimes students just need a few more scaffolds to help them write! I love this notebook because it provides students with that 3 lined primary guided paper. The lines are colored with gives that extra scaffold some students need. Another thing I like about this notebook is that the back of the front cover has an example of how lowercase and capital letters are written using those types of lines. I love that visual!

These magnetic letters are great for some multi-sensory encoding practice! My student loved them! They come in an organized box with stickers to put on each square for faster cleanup. I love that the vowels and consonants are different colors. That will come in handy for syllabication when the time comes! My only complaint is when you don't keep the box straight in storage the letters fall which can get annoying.   #ad  2. Doodlejamz JellyBoard Another great tool for supporting the Orton-Gillingham approach! Since I tutor at my student's home, I really didn't want to carry a sand tray back and forth but I still needed that extra multi-sensory step for the 3 part drill. This tool is the perfect substitution. My
