1. Pack of Sand Timers 

When you teach special education you have to think outside the box sometimes. If I'm being honest, I don't even remember why I bought these sand timers. However, I'm glad I did! Recently I was working with a student and I was using a digital timer with him to give him a brain break. When the timer went off it was loud and he covered his ears. Turns out he was very sensitive to loud noises. Once I pulled out the sand timers he was way more receptive to that. This pack comes with different times each in a different color! There are so many uses for sand timers!

2. Storage Clipboard 

These clipboards were first introduced to be about 2 years ago when our SPED Lead ordered them for the whole team. WOW. Game changer for data collection! They can be used so many ways. Keep data sheets hidden that are not being used in the moment. Store completed data sheets that are not ready to be filed...or just keep your schedule etc. in it. This year I gave one to each of my Instructional Assistants to help them with data collection.

3. Heavy Duty Magnetic Hooks 

These are the hooks of all hooks! They are SO STRONG!! Honestly a little too strong. When they attach to each other accidentally it's really hard to pull them apart but that means they work! I use these for many different things. I hang visuals on the leg of students' desks, I use them to hang up anchor charts, I even use them to hang filing organizers on the board! Definitely a must have for your classroom.

4. Magnetic Digital Timer 

This technically wasn't made for teachers but I love it! It's super easy to set and big enough that the kids in my class can see it in in front of the room (I do have a small classroom though). I love that it's magnetic and I can put it on the whiteboard!
